Not sure. I have never seen this model before, but that doesn't mean too much. A detail that confuses me is how the cut-out of the box is formed. The shape is different from any other Sony VHS cassette. The cassette doesn't tell too much either, as it is already from the time when everybody used the same handful of generic shells.
The only way to find out is to look at the tape itself. Sony's video tape has a distinct surface and dark brown colour, I think there was also some special smell to it. I remember that these original Sony video tapes was really good, so we used loads of various CD and DX in the 90's, which were great value for money. Around 2000, the quality suddenly dropped. When I examined the cassette, it became clear that Sony had stopped making their own tape and had swithched to the duller, dark grey OEM tape from Saehan or whoever made it for most of the big names around that time.
And, if you're lucky, you can find a VHS cassette manufacturer's license number embossed into the shell at some hidden spot. JVC, as the inventor, had the lowest LN 201, I think next was National/Panasonic with LN 202, TDK: LN 203... BASF: LN 254, but I don't remember Sony's LN.
