These tapes are unclear in terms of composition.
I only have a lot of marketing names, but it is possible to notice some details.
The EU/US That's as:I and CD/IF models are made by General Magnetics Singapore.
But the versions for the Japanese market OW-1 and CD-IS are made in Japan.
I don't know if physically the tapes are identical, but the marketing composition is.
as:I and OW-1 use "Prestxide type I"
CD/IF and CD-IS use "S-Prestxide type I"
Of course this is also listed for type II and IV models.
Those tapes are not bad, but compared to the big brands they could have been better.
But check any clues, feelings, or whatever by comparing this and other tape in sound and magnetic properties.
Also compare in great detail the color, shade, appearance, every detail of the magnetic tape between manufacturers, sometimes the findings are really interesting.
I for "That's" new Singapore generation cassettes don't have references with other manufacturers yet.
But I really like the interest in the thing
Yet I realised the new Singapore versions have nothing to do with the old That's tapes in the Delta window.
But it's possible that in Japan, even in the early 90's, Delta models of the FX-XP version were still available as an equal or improved successor to the FX. But I'm speculating a bit
Magnetic layer names were often given in both Japanese and European Delta models, they changed slightly over the years, but even so it is possible to deduce which model went which direction.
