Philips 3501

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the Philips 3501 machine? I have the recorder and the pre amp but it does not fire up, I am thinking there should be something in the remote socket to enable the machine (Just like in the Studer B62). Can anyone help?

Does anyone know if this machine needs to have some sorted contacts across the remote cable for it to function? The recorder does not play or rewind, though when rewind is pressed the machine does clunk, when stop is pressed, the tape lifters go back into their rest position. Can anyone help on this?
