Yes, it's some of these early Scotch CX in grey design, and almost identical looking Scotch Dynarange, which have SKM shells and different tapes. When marked as Made in USA, so I guess only the C-0 shells came from SKM, and were loaded with 3M tape in America. Later examples of CX were marked Made in Korea, and probably completely made by SKM. The same applies to Memorex dB Series, Chrome Bias II Super and HB II from the mid 80's.
The original Tandy Magnetics tape production was in Fort Worth. Memorex had theirs in Santa Clara. After Tandy bought the Memorex tape division, it seems like they used tape from both factories for both brands, Memorex and Realistic, for a while, before everything was out-sourced to a handful of OEMs. The address on Memorex cassettes was also changed from Santa Clara to Fort Worth around that time.
