Maybe, not sure. The tapes in the BASF 353 series are not necessarily from Taiyo Yuden. To me, it seems like the General Magnetics shells were loaded by BASF themselves, at least a part of them. Alternatively, BASF has delivered tape from Indonesia to Genmag in Singapore, as it had happened before with the Genmag shell Ferro Extra I/Soundtrack/Colours... from 1991. The tape in the 353 FE I Focus is most likely BASF Ferro Maxima I.
But for type II FeCo and type IV, BASF had no own tapes at that time. A collaboration with Hitachi/Maxell had just been established for the TP II, which contained XL II-S tape for the first two years. 353 Cr II Focus could be XL II, the MP IV Focus MX and the MP IV Studio (as well as TP IV) MX-S. These tapes somehow all behave like contemporary Maxell. The Cr II Studio is more difficult, no idea yet what that one really is.
Yes, as:IV and MP IV Focus have identical shells. However, CD-IV F has a lighter weight, regular plastic, while the MP IV Studio has the same heavy compund as the Suono (with both unfortunately oozing out the same yellow residue now...)
