Lately I found this Hitachi cassette. Probably it is the very first Hitachi cassette ever made.
It is named "Popular" like the very first Maxell, so this might be an indication.
Moreover, it has a "normal" plastic box with a cover - not a cassette-type one known for later decades. "Japan" engraved inside the box and on the cover also suggests it is original package. As comes to printing material, there is nothing more than a simple card with a chart A/B, without any logo. Probably, originally there should be a kind of card sleeve or something. Any other ideas?
