Christiano's tape recorder is called M10A with a Pabst capstan motor. The second flywheel is different from M10.

You wrote that you had got an M10. That machine is with an AEG capstan motor

Please send a photo of the motor and type-name-plate.

yes u have true, i wrong to write the name my machine is a M10A export version.

originally this machine was hi-speed only for duplication tape operation, and equipped with photovox heads  then i decided to restore for normal use 19/38 cm sec.
now i changed the headblock with a new stereo headblock
hen I drive the capstan motor with a small industrial inverter, now i can program all the speed i want by parameter changing (for two speed i use one relè) it works great
