Moinsen,
eine kleine Ergänzung, weil man sonst ja kaum in diese Sphären vorstößt: der in dem .PDF (Friedrich stellte mir freundlicherweise das originale Endprodukt auf dem kleinen Dienstweg zur Verfügung. Danke!) beschriebene Echo-Razor Effekt wurde dann in der STUDER A-820 (und m.W. in nur wenigen anderen STUDERs) elektronisch implementiert.
Das nannte sich dann Skimming (nicht zu verwechseln mit einer neuzeitlichen Mundraubmethode) und folgendes Zitat von Martin Berner enthält (fast) alle verfügbare Zusatzinfo (im Dokument F103 ansteuern...):
