There's some connection with how there was very little tape in the first version of the Metal C60 with the Philips Metal C60 audio cassette, coincidentally the Basf Metal Pigment C60 prototype.
Or Basf bought from Philips
Old metal clogged up the heads regularly, needed cleaning after each use.

In gutem Zustand würde ich das als sehr anständiges Typ IV-Band einstufen. Ich habe zwar nur ein Exemplar, vor vielen Jahren gebraucht auf Ebay zum Wahnsinnspreis von 1.- gekauft (ich war der einzige Bieter...) und dann auf dem B215 lecker bespielt. Das Band performt prima und mag auch ordentlich Pegel, schmieren tut da nix.
Ich tippe darauf, dass das Band aus eigener Herstellung und nicht von BASF ist - Philips/PDMagnetics hatten da ja ein Joint Venture.
Die PDMagnetics-Typ IV-Kassette gabs übrigens gelabelt auch als Agfa:
