das hat nix mit Dir zu tun, es ist die allg. Signatur, mit der ich ab- und an ein wenig herumspiele; 'wo alles aufhört beginnt das Spiel' stand da eine zeitlang drin, und z.Zt. spiele ich mit unserem Forums-Haupt-Verantwortlichen das O-92-er Brummrätsel. Da das aber kein STUDER-Gerät ist, will ich das Thema jetzt nicht vertiefen...

VIP Brems-Dokument (gilt auch für ReVox-Bremsbeläge) bei der A-810 vom STUDER-Server...
Hier noch eine Anekdote zum Bremsthema bzgl. einer 2" Variante desselben Systems, aufgeschnappt bei Walti in den Kommentaren 2024:

I've done maintenance on those before. I recall doing brakes on an A80 MKII 24 2" ... we got the new hubs and bands - looked like the same stuff that's in the Revox consumer gear - hub with what looks like medical adhesive tape around the circumference.
So I pull the deck plate, install them and the bands. Fire up the transport and load a 2" reel of junk tape. Hit play and stop and the supply reel dumps tape as it slowly stops. Like What the Hell?
So I call Studer in NYC... no tech there, just some fast talking sales guy, so I call Studer in Nashville. A guy with a southern drawl answers - no techs there either. I finally call Studer in LA.
"What's up man?" says the guy.
"Looking for a tech," I stated.
"Yea, well you got one... whatcha need?"
I tell him about the new brakes not working so well. He laughs...
"Dude, any chicks in the studio with nail polish remover? Or you got some Acetone in the shop?" he asks.
Told him yea I do...
"... alright. What you need to do is to pull the brake solenoid connectors so the brakes are always on, flood the brakes with acetone, then put a business card in the tape break sensor and hit play so both reels spin..."
I said, "With the brakes on?"
"Yep..." he answers. "You gotta let 'em spin until they smoke a bit then shut it down. Reconnect the brake solenoid wires and you should be good to go..."
I was like, "What?"
He laughs... "They need to break in." I told him I didn't see that in the Service Manual...
"Yea..." he laughs. "... there's a lot of stuff not in those manuals..."
