I'm pretty sure they're Denon, that's what I write on the site.
Those record protectors are a good invention, but they don't fit so well with metal or Type II, and they didn't use it with Type I, kind of reverse logic![Smile Smile](https://tonbandforum.de/images/smilies/smile.png)
And of course the older date of manufacture rules out Type IV detection, although it seems to me through the foil that there could be a 1983 year of manufacture.
The serial number marking is almost identical to Denon, I think Denon made the whole cassettes to Sanyo's design or requirements.
