Die Formeln bei vBommel sind sicher für Modelle ohne Abschirmungen gemeint.
Es gibt eine Arbeit von J.Melis, B.Nijholt, "A Comparison of Measured and Calculated Fringing Response of Multitrack Magnetic Reproducers", 1973/1978, J. AES, in der werden die Berechnung von A.van Herk, "Side-Fringing Response of Magnetic Reproducing Heads", J-AES,vol.26,pp.209-211 (April 1978 ), als die genauesten auf diesem Gebiet bezeichnet.
Die habe ich bei einer der Rechnungen benutzt.
Melis & Nijholt schreiben in ihren "Conclusions": "the best available calculation of fringing tends to overestimate the magnitude of the fringing effect in the region where the undulation effect (head bumps) occurs because the wavelength response of the undulation effect for the fringing flux is different from that for the flux on the desired recorded track." ("undulation effect": "Kopf-Spiegel-Resonanzen")
Sie betrachten ein Beispiel eines 4-Kanal Kopfes für 1/2" Band mit 5 Abschirmungen. Die Geometrie ist also deutlich anders als bei 4-Spur auf 1/4".
