Hello, Reel-to-Reel-man,
the correctly spelled name of the Swiss motorcycle et.al. manufacturer from Geneva is Motosacoche S.A. ('a' instead of 'o'). In fact, they also built tape recorders (Google gives two links at least ), possibly from 1948 onwards, but little else is known about their further activities in this field.
As these machines were used by the Swiss Radio Corp., too, the PTT Museum für Kommunikation, Bern, Switzerland (http://www.mfk.ch/pttarchiv.html) could have some information (at least a book edited by PTT mentions the Motosacoche machines). Try your luck by e-mail: archiv@mfk.ch
In any case, this tape recorder could be an absolute rarity! Please keep us informed how things go on.
