Liebes Forum, liebe Kassettenbandfreunde!

Dear forum members, dear cassette tape enthusiasts,
The Denon tape deck UDRS-250 was part of a set of midi components produced between 1993 and 1996. As such, it incorporates all the manufacturing optimizations typical of that era. At the same time, it features a robust ALPS three-motor transport mechanism in the tradition of classic cassette recorders, with one motor for the cassette tray, one motor for the tape supply and up drive, and one motor for the capstan drive.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find a service manual for this unit. However, inside, you will find the ALPS transport mechanism and it contains typical electronics from that period:
Dolby HX-Pro IC: uPC1297CA
Dolby B & C noise reduction IC: HA12142NT
Recording amplifier: CXA1198
After all these decades since its manufacture, the following maintenance work was required:
Replacement of the cassette drawer drive belt
Replacement of the capstan drive belt
Replacement of Pinch roller
Overhaul of the capstan motor (disassemble, cleaning and lubrication)
As expected, the speed stability is okay with a deviation of approximately ±15 Hz relative to a 3150 Hz test tone.
But now, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Nun der zerlegte Tonmotor / inside capstan drive
Tonmotorregelung / Speed controller
zur Abrundung hier dann die Messungen / Finally, here are the measurements.:
