your M 10 A is in very nice condition. Congratulations. Thanks for the pictures.
The missing second flywheel is used as a brake during recording and playback to stabilize the tape tension.
This is achieved by pressure washers that press on the ball bearings with an adjustable force.
I assume that you are familiar with the construction principle.
If only the flywheel itself is missing, that's not so bad, but if all the accessories are missing, you have a little problem. Except for the screw connection, almost all of these are standard parts, unfortunatley not all..
You can easily see from my avatar that my heart also beats for the M10 A.
