PE31 stammt noch aus der Vor-LH -Zeit, was den Vorteil hat, daß dieser Bandtyp keine Probleme mit Schmieren/Kleben/Stauben kennt, allerdings auch nicht unbedingt für Viertelspur und 9cm/sec geeignet ist. Bei 19/Halbspur durchaus noch verwendbar.
Ich bespiel grad ein LGS26 auf der M15a und das ist durchaus anhörbar.
