A77 re-centering spool motors on chassis - Lpr35 - 11.03.2025 Good morning to all. I have here a problem on A77, because I must remount two spool motors on chassis, but I have seen that there is air space among the hole on chassis and the motor body . Is there a system for re-center well the motors than the chassis ? Thanks to all . Gruß Holgi RE: A77 re-centering spool motors on chassis - Lpr35 - 26.04.2025 Sorry, but someone can explain me why there are 4 holes on chassis from 4,70mm each, while on motor 4 holes with thread M4 ? Why have 4,70mm on chassis, than 4mm necessary for the motor ? At my eyes there is a no-sense ... Revox was famous for their precision manifactured recorders, but in this case the precision there isn't... For this reason I asked if there is a system for re-center each motor on chassis correctly. RE: A77 re-centering spool motors on chassis - David77 - 27.04.2025 At a guess I'd say there really is no need to center the spool motors on the chassis. I can't see what difference a maximum of 0,35mm either way would make. The way the Revox brakes work, they won't have a problem. |
