I have a M 24 missing the motor and output/input transformers as well as a few can capacitors. I have a few motors including a Pabst that looks close. I have a few questions: Does anyone know the RPM or shaft diameter of the motor? What are the values of the two can capacitors next to two of the tubes ?
I may attempt just to use the machine for playback as I have no idea of the missing transformers , but it seems the input Transformer is only for the one Low Z mic input. I could run playback straight from the heads to a suitable preamp .
If anyone has any idea where I could find an orginal motor I would be forever grateful ! FF and Rew work well despite the missing parts !

I have a few M24 or M26 spare machines including all motors and the requested transformers.
If you were based in the EU I could offer a complete spare machine for dismanteling with an affordable price.
Note that you will also need a suitable friction gear in good condition coupling the motor in the capstan flywheel...
This causes the main issue, rumble noises in playback mode.
