Hello everybody. This is Altin, I reside in Montreal, Canada. I am in possession of a UHER 8000, which needs to have its belts replaced. I am looking around the internet about a user manual and/or a service manual for it, but very little seems to go that way. Anybody familiar with that machine? What's its reputation?

Hi Altin,
I have only seen a photoghraph of a Uher 8000.
It looks very much like one of the early Uher Royal Stereo machines of the 784 and 782 series.
So it might help you to have a look at the schematics and other service information available for those machines.

PS: Just found a site that shows the identification plate of a Uher 8000:

It reads: "784E" plus the series number.
So it is in fact one of those Uher Royal 784E models.
