Is it a better combo than M10+V86 V87?

.I must admit that I have not yet heard of this combination. You definitely mean M15 - not M15A?
However - regarding the typical problems of an M10 (not M10A) around its capstan (as you can see in here) I suppose that it might be a pretty good idea to combine the fine tube amps with a machine like M15. 8o

Yes, M15 because I have a M15 and I want to modify it with V87 V86 tube preamps.
The M15 or M15A magnetic head characteristic are different from M10, what do we need to take care when combine with the V86 V87.
Calibration with MRL tape is enough or not?
